Terms and Conditions

 

KARE Janitorial, and its owner (Kyle Raines), henceforth referred to as "the contractor," agree to provide all equipment needed to perform all duties within this quote.  Unless otherwise agreed, we do not provide paper products, hand soap or garbage bags. 

 

Validity of this document. 

If not signed, this quote is valid for 30 days.  Once signed this document becomes a legally binding contract for the period of one year from the commencement of services listed above.  If authorization, whether verbal or written is given to commence the work listed within this quotation, the terms of this contract shall be deemed agreed upon with or without a signed document commencing from the day access to perform said services is granted to the location listed above.  If services continue beyond the one year, then the conditions of this contract continue indefinitely with the exception of increased cost due to increased expenses. Any additions and / or omissions to this contract must be initialed by a signing officer of each party to be binding. The price listed herein is for after-hours cleaning unless otherwise agreed.

 

Physical Conditions of Job Site.

 The price and conditions of this contract are based on the conditions of the area to be cleaned at the date of inspection as shown above.  If these change the contractor will not be bound to the price and / or conditions of this contract. The price listed in this contract allows for a normal level of office decor and clutter.  Overly cluttered offices require extra cleaning time and/or different equipment as well as decreasing our ability to ensure a clean and sanitary facility.  Please note that we are not a garbage removal service.  We will dispose of normal office garbage in garbage bins provided by the client.  Large, heavy or unreasonable amounts of extra garbage will not be disposed of without prior agreement by the client and contractor management.   

 

Cleaning vs Disinfection in light of COVID-19

Unless specifically stipulated above, this contract is for general cleaning services and does not replace routine disinfection throughout the day/week.  Although we use  equipment and chemicals for disinfection in our processes, it is the responsibility of the client to ensure routine disinfection of their facility as required by local and industry standards for their facility. 

 

Termination of contract

Should the client require the termination of services for any reason, at any time, the contractor must be given written notice of termination of the contract no less than 30 days before the anticipated end date of services.  If such notice is not given, then the contractor reserves the right to charge the client for the normal price of the above listed services for the remainder of the 30 day period that is herein agreed upon.

 

Billing

Invoices will be sent via email, unless otherwise requested, within the first week of each month for that month's services.  Any changes to the cost will be either added or discounted on the next months invoice.  Payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice unless otherwise agreed upon.  

 

Failure to pay 

It should be duly noted that if the client is for any reason unable to pay an invoice by the due date shown on the invoice, the contractor should be notified by phone at (905) 246-1385 or via email at karejanitorial@gmail.com.  Should the client fail to pay an invoice by the due date, the contractor reserves the right to charge a late payment fee or interest on the amount that is owed.  Should the client fail to pay the invoiced amount for a consecutive period of more than 90 days, the contractor reserves the right to suspend services until full payment is received.

 

KARE Janitorial will not be bound by any other agreement in addition to or in replace of this document.
